This is another TOUGH topic… Knowing your Worth is a GOOD value to place on your life. When you know what you want, you know how to obtain it, NOW all you gotta do is hold on to it… Let nothing get in it’s way! People will settle for ANYTHING because it feels right or their comfortable in that situation! That should NOT be the case, nor should it be an option when you know your worth.

Definition of Worth: “The value of something measured by its qualities or by the esteem in which it is held”.

If you’re a GOOD man/woman don’t ALLOW someone that’s not adding to your worth bring you down and accept what they’re giving. Any relationship/friendship should be 50/50, and it should be a team effort! I hear people say all the time.. “I wish I had somebody different or I wish they were like this that, or I wish they could do this for me or do that for me??” The reason that they are NOT doing XYZ, is clearly because… YOU ready???? They’re NOT adding to your worth! What is meant for you, you won’t have to ask or beg them to do it. You have to know that you are WORTH more than what you’re getting. View yourself a GOLDEN ticket, not everyone gets one. Remember that, once it’s used it’s gone.

I have a friend that tell people make a list of what you want and don’t want in a man/woman/friend. Once you  make your list; compare he/she to the things you’ve listed and if they doesn’t fall into your list qualities… They’re not for you!!! Don’t force it, let it go. (In my FROZEN voice) lol Moving right away, hahaha 😂

Don’t  settle for any old thing, just to say I have a man/woman/friend. It’s not worth it in the end. You have so much going for yourself and you don’t need nothing holding you back from achieving your goals. Look for signs, they’re there..

For example: If you know you love steak, and someone says to you: “Oh, I’m cooking Salisbury steak do you want some?? Now we all know the steak is part of the equation… BUT, it’s  NOT the real deal… Why are you settling ??? You choose to say no thank and keep it moving. You know your worth when you do.

Knowing what you bring to the table (WORTH) is good, and should not be down played because someone doesn’t agree with you. You will be okay if they don’t match your worth. You have to see things in yourself, so other can see it too! Nobody can force you to see your worth. Do a self-assessment and say self, self say huh??? Do I know my WORTH??? If not, time to reevaluate your life. It can be done: ALL it takes time, dedication and sacrifice.

Happy Thursday…

Today’s topic will be Modesty. (I’m  NOT judging anyone, this is my personal opinion)

Now, this topic is hard because you can EASILY offend someone… but this is NOT MY PURPOSE! I am trying to make teenage girls, young ladies and women aware of the appearance that’s shown out in the world. When your a lady (like some say) you should act and conduct yourselves according… you don’t have to wear EVERYTHING you see someone else wearing. Your Appearance should be used as a form of Modesty! And that fits your body structure appropriately.

Definition of Modesty: “The behavior, manner, or appearance intended to avoid impropriety or indecency”.

Yes, you can wear what you like… but wear the right size and make sure that it’s not too much, or evething hanging out or showing. Nowadays, We are looking at the celebrities on t.v. (that’s ALL we see) and think hmmm.. if they can wear so can I. Yes, this is also true! Learning how to make the look work for you and enhance your NATURAL BEAUTY is the key. We have so many young ladies are growing up without the proper guidance on how to dress or even be a young lady. I blame that on Society and the uninformed parent. This is NOT definitely a learned behave. Set certain boundaries for your child, don’t buy it and don’t  all it! This is a representation of YOU when she walks out YOUR house… Think about, what do people see????  We as ADULT women have to set the tone for how these young women growing up SHOULD dress and behave in public.

God says: ” In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array.” 1 Timothy 2:9

God also says: “What? know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which you have of God, and you are not your own? (1 Cor. 6:19)

People ask me all the time “why you don’t wear shorts, or short skirts or your shirts a certain way; you have a nice shape??” Well, the REAL reason is… You ready???? Because I consider myself a LADY and I respect my body as a temple unto GOD and this is his temple! I have a young daughter who is watching me, and I’m setting the tone for her! I don’t have to be like EVERYBODY else, b/c I’m content and HAPPY with myself: Just the way I am! Once you learn how to love you, you will view yourself a lot different. Not saying you don’t love you b/c you do wear those things, what I’m just saying: You will respect yourself more and so will men. You have to leave something to the imagination! Let people be in amazement at your beauty, not your body!

Remember, you set the tone for how people will view you. That’s why they say: “First impression  is the last impression!” Because it’s what they WILL ALWAYS remember about you!! Nothing else after that…

Today’s topic will be about Communication.

I know ALOT of you think that Communication is just saying whatever you want, will part of that is true. Communication is where you learn to talk and/or speak to people in a pleasant way.
5 things to learn about it
1. Communication is about getting your point across and not sounding mean or harsh
2. Communication is the same in ALL different languages
3. Communication is thinking before you speak
4. Communication is understanding someone else’s point of view
5. Communication is GOOD!

NOW, with all of those points what do you see… Communication is the key to a successful relationship with anyone. You have to learn how to talk to someone and help them understand  you. Being mean and/or nasty will NOT get your point across. It will only confuse the situation and nothing will blget accomplished. What you say out of your mouth… listen What YOU say out of YOUR mouth has MORE affect on a person than you think. Learn to LISTEN and SPEAK only when necessary!

My dad had a favorite quote he taught us growing up and it said: “Look to learn and learn to look”. Think about that for a moment…. To me it meant: You can’t learn if you mouth is ALWAYS running, once you close it you can learn anything you need.

Remember, COMMUNICATION is the key to any successful relationship!

Prayer and praise should be an EVERYDAY  thing! There is ALWAYS something to pray about and ALWAYS something to thank GOD for. If you pray, leave it in GOD’S hands… He says: “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done”. (Philippians 4:6) So stop complaining about what you don’t have and start thanking him for what you do have! Somebody out in the world don’t have as much as you… But you’re living, breathing, food, a house, clothes, and clothed in your right mind. So on today post ONE thankful thing!

Good Morning Sparkling BW-TEE*S,

Once GOD has moved you out of a situation… he is preparing you for GREATER! Don’t try to hold on to it, because if it was meant for you it would be for you. What GOD is doing is moving you out of that situation for something less stressful, less drama, and less worry. You have to be able to move when GOD says it’s time for you to move. Don’t worry about who will be mad or who will not support or like you, GOD will ALWAYS like/love you! No man on earth can take you as far as GOD can. Every situation is not the same, you live and you learn from what you’ve been through. But, know that GOD is with you no matter where you go! Remember in GOD’S word it says: Philippians 4:13 “I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME!” So that means you can conquer any situation with GOD on your side.
