Hello Bw-Tee’s,

This blog post is something completely different, but it will be Powerful for all who read it. I promise you will look at your life a lot differently. Pursit of Happyness is a story about you going through life and the challenges you might face. As a little child you grow up with ALL these ideas of what you will do, who you will be, and what you will do to obtain your life goals. So you set out to be this picture perfect person you’ve created years ago.

You’ve entered into Grade school.. while there they ask a specific question “What do you want to be when you grow up?” Many people say Doctor, Lawyer, Teacher, or even I don’t know yet. So you start doing book reports about what you set out to be, doing research on it, and start training your mind to be that. So far so good right, on the right track.  You’ve mastered Grade school…

Now you’re in Middle school and you have to now own this idea of who you will become, you have to start taking classes to prepare you for the real world, once you graduate. Although, you think your heading in the right direction things began to become rough and your not making the grades you want. You began to get discouraged, you’re failing classes and have to have a tutor. Bummer you think right? No, you will do fine because you know you can do better if you stay focused and just try harder. You’ve come to the end of the semester and now you’re moving on to High School. Hooray, your life is just starting! 

Moving on to High School! High School is the real world for most people, and it’s also where you become an adult. You have to make changes that will benefit you for later. You’re still struggling with some classes and you really need help with a few things and your afraid to ask for help. So you struggle until you make it. You sit at home and think to yourself “What have I done wrong or even where did I go wrong?” You keep struggling without help and you barely pass high school. You’ve accomplished your Diploma!! Great Job!

Although, EVERYTHING changes!!!!!! Now you’re applying for jobs and every single job you’ve applied for said you needed more experience, or you’re not ready for the job. Frustration sets in, Discouragement sets in, and Hatred sets in towards those people and even yourself. These things will make you second guess even graduating high school and what you sought out to achieve. Now what do you do??? I guess I will just live with my parents for the rest of my life, I guess I will just sit around and wait on a hand out from people, or even let me see if I can find someone who will take care of me. This is your thought process, not knowing what to do or think and anything will do at this point. I have No job, no car and no money, I guess I’m a failure in life. You keep applying for jobs and finally someone lucked gave you a job that is willing to hire you with no experience, but their only willing to pay you just enough to get by. Now things have turned around and your outlook on life is looking up. You make your ends meet with what you have, and still thinking I need something better. Living paycheck to paycheck.. “You say I want better for myself, still struggling to make ends meet in order to move out on your own and become grown… and they let you go from the job.” Now what do you do??? Thinking no one will hire you even with the experience you have and depression sets in. No one to call for help, no money, no food, and no gas for your car.. You haven’t given up yet! You’ve taken some college classes but no degree… More student loan debt to pay, on top of the bills. What do you do??? You ask God to make things work for you during this process. It’s harder than you think!

Nevertheless, years pass by and NOW you’re in the Big Leagues making well over what you ever expected to make financially and your doing fine with yourself. Back on track and surviving. When you look at life and you think of all the struggles you’ve been through and all the sacrifices you had to make from one day to the next.. you don’t know how you’ve made it through. (One thing for sure you make more than enough can eat more than just Ramen noodles all day.) God has kept you a mighty long way. But you’re still unhappy on the inside… Being happy is something that starts from within!! 

I saw all of this to say.. No matter what obstacles you’ve went through in life and no matter what you were given… You still carried on! You carried on because you knew that one day this Pursit of Happiness would find you! You knew that all you’ve done for others, all you’ve done for yourself, and every load you’ve had to endure there would be light at the end of the tunnel. Giving up was not an option for you. You’ve tried everything imaginable and sought out to be better than you were years ago. The Pursit of Happyness is what you make of it! No one knows the journey but you and God!! He kept you because he knew what he wanted for you, God kept you because he knew that you’re a strong person, God kept you because he knew what he created you to be! God kept you because he knew that you had a story to tell to others about how your overcome this obstacle of being unhappy. God didn’t let you fall and neither should you! Keep going until you find out what Pursuit of Happyness God created you for! I want to Encourage you by saying you don’t have to be perfect nor do you don’t have to be rich, you just have to do what makes you Happy!! Whatever journey the Lord leads you on, own it! Don’t give up, just point to yourself and say: “I got this!” You are MORE than a conquer through Jesus Christ who strengthens you. (Romans 8:37)

Good Afternoon Bw-Tee’s!

First and foremost I want to give God the praise for what he is doing in my life and the love of this blog! Thank you Jesus!! 👏👏👏 This year with this Blog will be something different and special for everyone, including myself. The Lord has given me ideas, meaning, and ventures that I can take to grow this blog and my business name. I’m excited for what’s in store you Sparkling Bw-Tee’s!

During my prayer time with God, I asked him to give me a strong meaning for the word BW-TEE… Because I didn’t want to be PROUD calling you ladies a “Sparkling Bw-Tee’s and not have a true meaning for it. When you ask GOD specifics he gives you EXACTLY what you ask for! He dropped in my spirit immediately this specific meaning:

B: Beautiful

W: Women

T: Together

E: Encouraging

E: Each Other

This Blog has a GOD fearing,  Purpose driven, and a Passion lead leader to support you ladies in Uplifting, Encouragement, and Motivationg you to seek out your purpose in life. When your called to do something for the Lord, it’s a BIG job and yet he equips you with EVERYTHING that you need to do his work. It is a pleasure but yet an Honor that the Lord chose me to do this job for him! Teaching women how to Grow, Learn new things and better themselves is a Passion for me. Hello Bw-Tee’s!

How do you handle hurt? How do you handle being broken? Who do you run to when you’re broken? What does broken mean to you?

 According to Webster’s dictionary, it means: Forcibly separated into two or more pieces. Although it can mean different things to everyone, it really narrows down to one meaning Not being whole. Somethings missing from you!

The Lord can fix the broken pieces, if you give it to him. Meaning, leave it at the feet of Jesus, and walk away from it. Don’t leave it there today and pick it back up tomorrow or don’t say Lord here it is, but only give home half of it! If you want GOD to fix your Brokenness give it ALL to him. Give him ALL your hurt, sadness, fears, worry, incompleteness, emptiness over to him and watch him turn it around for you. See the thing about GOD is that he will heal you, he will comfort you, and he will definitely pick up the pieces and love you like no one else is willing to do. Healing takes time and patience, but in order to be healed you have to want too be! You have to be willing to do your part. What’s my part you ask? Let go and let God! No need to try to get even with that person, place, or things that broke you, God can change sadness into Joy and restore what you lost. When you allow GOD to do it, people will be looking at you like how? How what, you ask? How were you able to forgive and move on… Only GOD! He can do the Impossible and Change the unchangeable. 

The Lord says “I LOVE you just the way you are, and I will fix your broken pieces. I will use you with those broken pieces, I will not judge You because of your broken pieces, I will heal you from those broken pieces, and keep loving you with those broken pieces.” I want this type love forever, seeing that we serve an awesome and Amazing God its not impossible for him to love you! In John 3:16 it says: “For GOD so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son..” So he gave his son for you, or better yet he died on the cross for you… Yes, little ol’ YOU! That part right there should be Enough for you to just thank him every minute of the day!! Thank you Jesus for this type of Love!

1. When people walk away from you because you’re​ not like everyone else… God says:”I will never leave you nor for sake you” (Hebrews 13:5) 
2. When people say you will never find anyone to love you… God says:“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son” (John 3:16) 
3. When people say you won’t make it without me.. God says: “I will supply All your needs according to his riches and glory” (Philippians 4:19) 
4. When people say I’m afriad, change.. God says: “He has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7) 
5. When people say you don’t deserve the things you have.. God says: “For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield. (Psalms 5:12)

All these NEGATIVE things that man will tell you, GOD has something POSITIVE AND UPLIFTING to say to you and about you! The question is… Who will you believe..The world’s report or God’s report?? The choice is yours.. Live in it or Live for it!

This quote should read “Quit trying to fix me, I am not broken… I’m am HEALED!” Because when you serve a GOD like I do, he Heals you from the inside out and makes you whole again. God will protect you, he will provide for you, he will never leave you nor forsake you! Don’t worry about what people will say about you, Don’t worry about what they will think about you, and Don’t worry about how they will feel about you.. just know that once they see you again, you will be Healed, you will need Happy, and you will be Content in what the Lord has done for you. This is only a be season of hurt and pain. You can do this! YOU can do anything you put your mind, time and attention too.

Remember, no matter what GOD LOVES every inch of you, the broken pieces, you’re mishap and mistake, you’re failures​, the upsets​, the heartaches​, and the disconnects in your life. Talk to God and ask him to rewrite how he feels about YOU on your heart. Don’t keep allowing people to speak negative things over you nor about you. Believe what GOD says you are! You got this Bwteeful!! “LOVE YOUR BROKENNESS.” In your prayer time with GOD, you have to speak life into those dead situations, claim the victory over them, and walk in your healing! You can and will be healed by GOD. Be strong.. I LOVE you inspite of ALL those things people have said about you! I LOVE you and I mean it!

Good Day Sparkling Bw-TEE’S! I pray all is well with you…

What does Change mean to you? What did Change do for you? Are you Changing your life around for the better? Can you answer these honestly? There is ALWAYS a chance to change in life. Start small and become greater! It will not happen overnight, but it will happen… just takes time and patience.

Definition of Change: To give a completely different form or appearance to; transform

Sometimes change is good, sometimes change is not…If you prepare yourself (cover yourself with prayer) change will get better! You can’t think that doing the same thing is best for you, because you soon will realize that you’re getting the same results you’re trying to get rid of. This world is FULL of opportunity, and with your changed mindset you can soar higher. God, can take you places that no man things your qualifed for… Don’t worry about what they things or say, just know he can take you to greater places! Why do I say the mind of GOD, you ask?? Well, GOD already knows what he wants you to do, what he has in store for you, and what he does not want you to do… GOD is simply saying “Hey man/woman, I’m waiting on you to choose me” He has already chosen us (Christians) to believe in him… Now all you have to do is Walk by faith and not by sight ( 2 Cor. 5:7) The change will come! One main thing you know is… Don’t allow the Devil to trick you into starting in that, marking you think it’s nothing else out there for you.

 If you change your words, you change your life! This has a powerful meaning behind it… Sometimes your words can hinder, stop you, block you and sometimes hold you back in life. What to focus on and learn from is… You don’t have to prove to people that you changed, nor do you have to announce it.They will take notice it and comment on it. Don’t try to force people to believe in your change, believe in it yourself.

GOD will change your life around and people will not even notice you anymore. People will see your light, purpose, and favor that GOD has given you and wonder what your doing… Nothing at all, besides living your changed life that GOD has given you! Don’t allow people to bring you back to the old you, keep moving! #brand new look #new you

True Story: I was always eager beaver that wanted to change somethings in my life, but never knew how or always considered others opinions about my change. One day I started to think to myself… “Why do you allow people to have so much input over your change?” Because I was worried if I did this or that, people would view me differently, or talk about me. I felt like I needed validation from people and not sure of myself. Fast forward to my adulthood.. I have grown to realize that, you have to do what’s best for you. I stepped out on faith and applied for a position that I really didn’t have background in, nor did I have a degree in. I had a little background in it.. let me tell you how I applied and GOD saw fit for me to move in this position and I not worry about it. All because I had faith that I could do the impossible because of GOD on my side. I got the position making more than I had been and better hours. Oh YES, the naysayers were there, YES the doubted me, and YES they wanted to know how… All I kept saying to them is “It’s the GOD in me!” You better believe it! Thank you Jesus for opening doors that no man can close, thank you Jessie for being a way market for my family. #team Jesus all the way #change is good

Change your Can’t into a Can, and see where it CAN take you.

Change you and your lifestyle, everything else will follow! You will look at life a lot differently when you change you first! #message

Note to Self: I can only LOVE myself better, when I know who I am! You have to be content in who you are and who’s you are. You can’t recover from being hurt or shunned from people by losing yourself to their comments or negative thoughts about you.

God says in (1 Corinthians 3:4-8) Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseverance.

Loving yourself after a break up, after hurt from someone, and definitely from low self-esteem can be hard. You will start to question yourself, “Am I not pretty enough? Why didn’t he want me? Why do people walk away from me? I’m here to tell you that it can be done. Work at it, perfect it, and definitely once again OWN it. When I say own it, I mean just that.. OWN your flaws and love them just the same as the next person! Everyone has flaws, some deal with them publicly or privately but they have them. 

L: Leave people’s opinions outside your mind.
O: Only GOD can judge You! *Remember this*

V: Vote for You!

E: Explain Your purpose and dreams to no one. (some people just don’t understand)

You have to know for yourself that you are better than the rest. Yes, there are more prettier girls out there with nice shapes and a pretty face. What do you have??? A nice shape and a pretty face as well! You can’t allow someone else’s prettiness determine who you are in life, you too are just as pretty if not prettier! You have to believe in yourself and let nothing set you apart. Stand up for yourself!!

                      My Life Story

When my daughter was a small child about 1 years old, I would read to her this book called “I Like Myself“, by Karen Beaumont, David Catrow-Illustrator. I began reading this to her every night, to show her how to love herself if she’s different. It’s a book that encourages self-esteem for kids to appreciate everything about themselves-inside and out. And be comfortable with different things.

One day, I picked her up from school (4 years old now) I asked her how was her day (the usual); and she quickly replied “This girl at school told me she didn’t like my hair and she said my shirt was ugly!” She was pretty sad about it too. (My Mommy Beast mode, and protective mode kicked in!! Who do I need to go beat up, lol 🤔😠😲😊) I kept it cool though, I asked her these questions and meant every word.. “Do YOU like your hair? Do YOU like your shirt? She replied, Yes mommy. I replied again, and that’s ALL that matters! You don’t need for other people to like your hair or the clothes you wear. You have to be happy with the things you like. I’ve never had that conversation again with her. 

P.S.

 I hear now from her teachers that when someone tells her they don’t like her clothes or hair, she replies with a little: okay a lot of sassiness saying, “I don’t care, I like it!” Point proven!

When we as women start reinforcing positive thoughts into our little girls heads, it will create a stronger  woman within them. Let me say this again, what you put into her hearing now as a child, it will create the future Her! Think about it for a second.. if you tell your child, your not smart or you can’t run like everyone else.. What’s the first thing they began to say? Well, I’m not smart enough or their too fast for me to run against. We as women have to break these generational curses, and create stronger and self-sufficient women for the next generation to come. I tell my daughter everyday “Mommy loves you, you’re so smart, you’re so beautiful, you’re a Leader and not a follower!” She can do ALL things thru Christ who strengthens her! (Philippines 4:13) 

Remember, you are YOU for a reason! No one can be you nor be like you! God made you perfect in his own eyes AND in his OWN image, and if you LOVE you… That’s all that matters!!!

How will YOU answer these questions??

The Bible says in Song of Solomon 4:7: “You are altogether beautiful, my love; there is no flaw in you.” God called you beautiful, he said he loved you.. what more do you need? A human can’t out love the love that GOD has for you. 

Matthew 7:6 says: “Do not give dogs what is holy, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you.”

•  In other words (my view)..don’t allow people to treat you like your no good, like you don’t deserve their love, and definitely like you don’t deserve the truth or the real them. Once their done using you, mistreating you and hurting you…They will just throw you away and move on to the next person and do the same thing! You are MORE than what people say about you, do to you and treat you like. Don’t give people that power over you, ANYMORE!!

When you get involved with certain things and/or people, they have away of becoming cumbersome in your life at times. You never go into a relationship and think things will turn out bad.. your intention is to make it last forever, the Good that is! Being around those types of people, you began to pick up on their Traits, Attitude and Behaviors; and not even realize that you’ve taken it on. Slowly, you’re being transformed to act like, think like and behavior like them. Now, you have lost yourself completely.What about you, though? What did you use to do before you met this person?? Oh, yeah… Think, Act and Behave on your own. . Now, it’s time to get back to you!

You must say “I am Stronger, than I’ve ever been before! Those HATEFUL words that people throw at you… I’m here to tell you “YOU ARE NOT ANY OF THOSE WORDS!” People who typically uses those words are people who are hurt themselves. Hurt people hurt people! You can only change you, just pray for those who talk about you. They will Thank you later. (God will deal with them)😉

Finding yourself again… You have to remove ALL the layers that are on you. The layers are the things that’s holding you down, and NOT allowing you to be the real you. It’s not about what you did, but now MORE about what can I do to recover and grow into me again.  Stop allowing those things to control you and make you more of someone else. You have a mind of your own…use it! Stop thinking that you need this person or the negative people that are associated with them in order to feel accepted…because you don’t! You can think on your own, make decisions on your own, be you on your own. See the pattern.. It ONLY takes YOU! Start by doing things that YOU like to do, start watching things that YOU like to watch, and start hanging around YOUR positive friends; because you’ll need them. Start with these baby steps, and eventually you will move on to bigger and better things for your life. Although, you can’t move on to something else by holding on to the… PAST! Let me say this again… holding on to the PAST will not move you to the future YOU. Let go and let GOD!

Learning who YOU are, leads to WHO’S you are!

Baby, you’re a child of the King!! Let me say that again… YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD, and that’s ALL you need to know. He is the only one who knows and has all things in his hand for you! Girl, stop worrying and get yourself together, you’ll be fine! I mean it!!

 Y-You are MORE than Enough!

 O– Out LOVE yourself (love on you until you can’t love yourself anymore) Impossible Right? WRONG!!!

 U-Understand who and who’s you are

Pick up the pieces of your life… And LIVE each day as a NEW day! You were created to succeed and not to fail. You’re created to be you, and not what others think you should be! God says in Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”  See GOD brought you to this situation and he is now bringing you out of this situation for a reason, he knew you could do GREAT things. No longer being bond by someone’s opinions and thoughts of you.

Love on yourself, so that the next person that comes in your life with this junk again, you can say “No Thank you, I see you don’t benefit me at all in my life and I will do just fine without you.” No need to explain why, you a RESCUED and no need of going back. Trust me, you will understand later and thank GOD for saving you. Now, You were created for a purpose..Go ahead Shine on, Sparkle on and definitely pick up your CROWN and Live on! You can do it!

What is considered OUT of season? Anything that goes against what you want to do.. What is considered IN season? Anything that has a PURPOSE for your life.. Does everything work well in each season? Yes and No… that’s why there’s expiration dates on things, somethings you have to let go of.. When the seasons change, so should your life.. You have to reevaluate your life and see what you should keep and what you should release.#Release and get Peace

S.E.A.S.O.N.S

(S)top (E)xpecting (A)nything and (S)tart (O)pe-rating (N) In those (S)ituations

You can’t be out of a season and expect things that were in last season to work WELL in this NEW season. This is why seasons change every so often..you can’t wear short s in the winter time, can you? You can wear boots in the summer, can you? Well, think about this.. Why do you think GOD expects/wanys you to take junk in your next season?  These things just DON’T fit in at all. Your growth is hindered and so are your blessings!

GOD says: “To every [thing there is] a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven” (Ecclesiastes 3:1).

How comfortable are you in the season that you’re in? What do you want to change? What you expecting GOD to do in this season you’re in?

“It’s time to STOP watching the clock, and START beating the clock!”

You’re season will only last as long as you keep dealing, dwelling, and reopening the same weather. Listen, as long as you put up with these things, your season will never get better. It will cause you stress, sadness, hurt, fear and definitely pain. All these things are happening because you think that it should ALL work well, because you want the things that don’t fit. 

When you’re dealing with certain things in that season, and it doesn’t seem/look like it’s going to change.. You should want to seek the UNCHANGEABLE for help! Seek GOD because.. he changes NOT! He is the same yesterday, today and forever! Who wouldn’t want to serve or get directions from someone who is UNCHANGEABLE?? I know I do! Psalms 32:8 says: “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.” You have to want to Grow in life and not be stuck in the same position or spot you have been in for months. Growing up is part of the process, Yes, I know it will hurt to lose certain things/people… But it will be better to let go now, than to go years down the line and deal with worse things. I’m only saying this because I TOO, had to learn and still is learning this lesson.

Have you EVER wondered why you lose certain people in your life? God sees that their time is up.. either they are hindering your growth in him spiritually or he knows that they dont mean you any bit of good. Don’t ask questions.. just let it go! (In my frozen voice) I guarantee you it will be what’s best. God is not the author of confusion.. and he doesn’t have his hand in mess.

Everything that comes in your life is ONLY for a season. Once the S.E.A.S.O.N is over… EVERYTHING that comes with it should be too! 

It’s time to move on and into the next S.E.A.S.O.N to really START enjoying and living your life!

Well.. Hello, Sparkling Bw-TEE’S!

What does begin R.E.A.D.Y mean? What steps do I need to take to become R.E.A.D.Y? And lastly what am I R.E.A.D.Y for?? These are questions you need to ask yourself before taking the next step in your life.
You have to be prepared for setbacks! Setbacks are anything that comes to knock you down or off the right path. But, if you stay focused.. those setbacks will only make you stronger and make you realize that you can do better and keep going. John 14:6-Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. God knows what you need, want, desire and what you deserve. Go to him and let him lead you, so that he can direct your path… Correctly! 

You go to GOD in prayer and you say: “Lord I’m ready for (Fill in the blanks)”… Be sincere with GOD, he already knows your heart. God says in 1 Peter 5:7- Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Well, the way GOD is set up (😉) he will bring you to certain situations and test you to see if your actually ready for what your asking him for. Hence the reason that you don’t have it yet, because he is looking at you and saying you’re not quite ready..  Meaning he will take you through test and trials and it’s up to you to pass or fail (it’s part of the setup)! GOD knows exactly when you need it and when he will bless you with it. Faith and patience are key!

For Example: GOD said “I will make you ruler over many… How can you be ready for a 6 figure income and you can’t handle a $3,000 budget that you have? You do the math! I’ll wait… 🐸☕ #pay your tithes #10% of your income

There is a lot of preparation and determination that comes along with becoming ready. You have to change you ways of living, thinking, doing and definitely the way of walking. Focus on positive things in your life, and leave negative things out. It’s all about your mindset, set you mind to positive thinking. It’s ALWAYS something good in the bad. 

You have to have a mindset to want new and different things in your life. It will not come with you just sitting and waiting for someone to show you how.. it’s called motivation! You go, get and do!!
Remember, you CAN’T  change the past, but you CAN change your Future! Live, Laugh and Love is the only ways for a greater change! It’s time for a change.. and it starts with YOU!

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, Or he will direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:6)”
